Dr. C. Brett Carlin, M.D. grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. He
later received his bachelor's degree from Clemson University in
Chemistry, and graduated Cum Laude and later moved on to the
University of Georgia, receiving his degree in Biochemistry.
Dr. C. Brett Carlin then moved back to South Carolina to attend
the Medical University of South Carolina and graduated as a
Doctor of Medicine.
Dr. C. Brett Carlin began his residency in general surgery at
the Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama and
later moved on to the renowned Duke University Medical Center to
pursue Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. Dr. C. Brett Carlin
finished his fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute
in Kentucky, with knowledge in hand and microsurgery.
Dr. C. Brett Carlin is involved in many medical organizations,
including but not limited to; American Society of Plastic
Surgeons, American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgeons, Alabama State Medical Association, Lexington Medical
Association, South Carolina Medical Association, and the South
Carolina Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is
also certified through the American board of Plastic Surgery and
the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is licensed through
the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky.
Dr. C. Brett Carlin is now married (Elizabeth) and has a child
